what's with these jokers...

Being an avid viewer of english movies, i can't help but notice one striking aspect.
I like to call it clap-job.The people who do it as clappers.I dont know who started this habit and when.It can be a socio-cultural study in itself with historical significance for hollywood tradition.
A clap job is loosely defined as an act of clapping done by a bunch of "cl(r)appers" usually during the climax where the two main characters in the film do the koochie smoochie declaring their love in front of total strangers.
A clapper is usually part of the group of extras who are paid some $$ to act like normal people, who suddenly forget their "normal"ness and surround the "smoochie" couple and start clapping.
This act usually takes place in a crowded area like a hotel, airport or some place where the hero mangaes to convince the "lady" to not to leave him and they happily leave everafter. There is one more varaiton where the "convincer" and "convincee" switch places.
To all the directors, what were you guys thinking? This scene has been repeated umpteen number of times in many movies throughout the ages.It looks dated and frankly just unreal.
The idea of bunch of loosers clapping when two people are smooching.Guys give them some privacy although you don't have to(as it's a public place.)
Also it's just not the way stuff happens in the real world. If I were to pay my respect to every kissing scene whenever I see one, frankly god save my hands.
Kissing is an intimate moment b/n two people and many have many different ideas and views about it,none of them involves clapping.I always want to be the person who is kissing and not the dumb asses who clap;and so does everyone.
to all the great and not-so-great directors:WAKE UP.
